Veldkamp’s Flowers is a family owned and operated business established in 1959. For over 50 years, they have delivered fresh flowers, blooming plants, foliage, gift/gourmet baskets, and artificial arrangements to millions of customers in the Denver metro area.
After WWII, 25 year old Ben Veldkamp Jr. left Holland in search of opportunity in America. With a rich horticultural family history in Holland and Belgium, he went to work in the flower industry and shortly thereafter opened a flower shop in Lakewood, Colorado. Over the years, Veldkamp’s grew into the interior and exterior landscaping business, garden center business, wholesale business and greenhouse production business. Veldkamp’s floral presence has continued with the next generation, Ben Veldkamp III and now the third generation John Paul Veldkamp. The family has carried on the tradition of exceptional customer service with the emphasis on quality product at the best value, making them the premier traditional florist in Colorado.
Veldkamp’s procures the highest grades of flowers from California, Holland and South America multiple times a week. They participate in the most advanced techniques to transport and process their flowers to ensure a freshness guarantee and as many days as possible for the end consumer.
